Welcome!

September 14–16, 2007 • Flagstaff, Arizona
Pine Mountain Amphitheater / Coconino County Fairgrounds

Concerts, Workshops, Dancin’, Pickin’, Contests, & More...

Pickin' in the Pines 2007 is right around the corner!  After our wildly successful inaugural year in 2006, we’re excited to present another great festival this September 14, 15 and 16.

We've updated many parts of this website so, including the lineup, schedule, camping information, and ticket ordering pages with the latest information.  If you have questions or some part of the web site is not working for you, please contact PIPInfo@pickininthepines.org; we'd love to hear from you.

The lineup for this year’s festival is certain to thrill our audiences with old favorites and soon-to-be-favorites of bluegrass and traditional music. With David Grisman Bluegrass Experience and the Kruger Brothers as our headliners, we’re sure you’ll want to be here!

Tickets are on sale now and information about camping, volunteer opportunities workshops, and the band contest (with over $1000 for first place!) are posted throughout this site.  We also have a big Saturday Night Barn Dance (on a wooden floor!) with music by Sweet Sunny South and Albuquerque's Merri Rudd calling the dances. For the kids, Merri Rudd will also be conducting an afternoon family dance, Matthew Henry Hall will be lead them in song, and Tony Norris will cast a spell with his storytelling.

This site will contain the latest changes and most up-to-date information about the festival. Check back often for the latest details or call our information hot line at (928) 525-1695 or PIPinfo@pickininthepines.org for more information.

Pine Mountain Amphitheater & Camping

If great music and entertainment is not enough, consider this: Flagstaff’s new Pine Mountain Amphitheater is one of the best venues in the state for outdoor music with plenty of camping in the cool pines! September is typically downright beautiful in Flagstaff and the falls colors are ablaze, so pack up the tent or camper and head on over!  Click here to review the camping information.
